Even tough they took a small run with main storyline (Goku's tail?), Bulma being a hot young women (She LOOKS way younger than she is the series, anyways)
and the list of small things continues.

Regardless, I've manage to put myself aside from the: "It's not like DB I KNOW, but simply an alternative, somewhat more mainstream story", and from the looks of it, it doesn't look all that bad.

Either way, a must for the fans, regardless of how odd real life characters look, if you manage to get beyond this large gap, you'll find that you will somewhat excited to see a real life goku, with some motherfcking leetsauce kamehameha's in some top notch Hollywood GFX..

I loved to watch DBZ when I was younger, so even now I was still looking forward to it. Until I saw this trailer. Looks fooking terrible -_-

Goku isn't as childlike as he was in the series
Bulma is younger than in the series and isn't as PMS
Roshi isn't perverted, and is apparently Chinese and doesn't wear any sunglasses anymore
And what happened to the rest of the guys?

I'll go and see it, but just for the laughs. If I'd go with any expectations, the nearest person to me in the cinema wouldn't see to live another day.

This is like Uwe Bow directing all them crappy videogame based movies all over again!

I don't know how the script made it past the executives. I mean, the storyline doesn't seem to make sense. Not to mention most the characters isn't done right according to the anime.

Goku is not... a kid in high school. Bulma isn't that young in the anime. Master Roshi is LOT older than that and is a pervert! And Piccolo is well.... an alien type being not part human! I think this movie will have too much CGI in it to make it even watchable. Kind of like The last Mummy movie.

Wonder why they don't put this movie straight to DVD instead of putting out in the theater?

I'm gonna give it a chance. It wasn't meant to mimic dragonball; it's an adaptation, which I'm actually sort of glad about. I don't really want to go watch something I've already seen, so the changes are actually nice surprises. Surely this can't be as bad as dragonball: the magic begins.

Also, RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO yeah cowboy bebop. Hopefully the live action movie won't be complete shit.

this is going to be one of those movie that you go to watch the special effects and at then end, come out of the cinemas thinking that's not dragon ball!!! It would be a better if it isn't call dragon ball.
